I am the director of a company who is the trustee of a trust. I would like to lodge BAS for the trust rather than rely on my tax agent to do so. The issue I have is when I try and see anything on Online Services for Business it asks me to link my personal myGOVid with the Trust.
However, I cannot do this because my personal name is not directly linked to the Trust with the ABN.
Has anyone found a way around this issue?

If you're listed as the director of the company that is the trustee. In this situation you be an indirect associate and would require to be manually linked by us to the trust ABN.
Once we have manually linked you in the relationship authorisation manager to the trust ABN you will be able to access the business portal and lodge BAS. As long as your myGovID has least standard strength.
Please ensure when you contact us that you have some form of ID like drivers' licence or Medicare card.
