- Your taxable income
- % work use shown in your computer use diary
- Date computers purchased - for pro rata depn.

I just want to add that you'll need to depreciate your computers. That means you can only deduct their decline in value over a period of time. You can't claim $4000 in one go. Check out claiming a computer on our website.
