I studied in Australia during 2005 - 2006. During this time period, I had a part time job.

I bought an Australia property during 2021 as a foreigner. Now, my accounting agency need to lodge tax return for me but find I have outstanding income tax returns from year 2004 to 2021 associated with my TFN.

How could I clear up those remain outstanding? Since I'm not able to link my TFN online for some reason, should I download the non-lodgment advice forms for each year and mail to the taxation office? Or I need to download Tax Return for individuals forms for each year, complete and mail to the taxation office?

Hi @tangmingwah,

You can send the non-lodgement advice advice forms for the years that you didn't need to lodge a tax return. Our page on lodging prior year tax returns has information on how to do this.

If you were earning income from a part time job during 2005-2006, you'll need to lodge tax returns for those years. Our copies of tax documents request might be able to help you if you don't have records from those years. If you have a tax agent they can lodge these for you.
