Hi, my client (a company) is looking to buy a BMW X5 that has a payload of 1030kg and is fully used for business purposes. Is this car exempt from the car limit and able to claim the full value and full GST?

I know payload = GVM - kerb weight. The client only told me the kerb weight is 2212kg, but did not tell me the GVM. I explained the payload calculation method to the client, and the client said the payload is 1030kg after an inquiry with the dealer.

Help please.
