I am a FIFO worker and live in Townsville. I fly from Townsville to Mackay. I do not/cannot claim airport parking at Townsville, which is fine. I park a work supplied car at Mackay Airport, which I then use to travel to my workplace. I then return to Mackay Airport, park the vehicle, then fly back to Townsville. I pay for this parking each week. Can I claim the cost of parking my work supplied vehicle at Mackay Airport?

Hi @ScottMu,

This isn't the kind of travel expense you can claim. We see it as a private expense because you're travelling between home and your normal place of work.
