We are corporate outside Australia but have an agreement with an Australian. We would like to contribute Super to his Super Account. However, there’s not enough information to make the transaction directly to his Super Account. Can we make the payment directly to him and ask him to add the amount to his Super Account? If this way works, anything else we should take care as employer and employee?
Hey @Tung8434,
Does the Australian employee work inside or outside Australia?
Unfortunately, it's not possible for you to pay it directly to your employer. If you're required to pay super on behalf of your employee, it will need to be paid to their superfund. Being a non-resident employer, you don't have to pay super for resident employees who work outside Australia.
You can read more about working out if you have to pay super on our website. You may also like to take a look at how to pay super.
Hope this helps.

Hi Anita,
Thanks for your information. The Australian we had agreement with works inside Australia. Would your reply be different if he works inside Australia from outside Australia?
