At this stage there isn't way for a tax agent or external individual to confirm a persons director ID. However the individual who has the director ID can log into the ABRS website and see its status. If needed they should be able to access it and show you if its for your company or if you are there tax agent.

Thanks but if we can't confirm that it is a real number then it is not help as it the web site say: "This will help to prevent the use of false or fraudulent ..."
@TeddyATO then what is the use of a director's ID if they can't be checked that the ID number is true?
