What is SGC & why do the employer use it on the employees?

So my employer has added Super Guarantee Charge which i found it on my Payslip. I don’t know anything about it as I am new in Australia.

I just want to know if it has any link to me? Is it been paid for me? If yes how do i find the details of the super.

That is super that has been paid for you - as required by law.

Ask you employer what super fund it went to.
