I have checked multiple times to try and lodge my 2022-2023 tax return but can't find the option to do so. I earned over $100k so I know I should be able to lodge a return. My income statement also showed that my income has been reported by my employer and it is tax ready. However, when I try to lodge a return for 2022-2023, it is not coming up and under lodgements, it is showing that all my lodgements are up to date despite me not having done 22-23FY tax return at all. I have tried many times to get through to the hotline the last few days and it kept dropping my call saying they are experiencing high volumes. Would appreciate any kind of help or advice please. Thanks in advance.

Hi @mppc,

Oh no, hopefully we can help!

One reason this can happen is if you’ve accidentally ticked the box saying you don’t expect to lodge again.

We’ve got some instructions on our website for what to do.

Let us know how you go 😊

Hi Riley,

Thank you so much for that. I checked my lodgement from last year and I had indicated that I still expected to lodge a return for the next year. I also followed the instructions on your link and clicked Manage tax returns > income tax > history. However there is nothing for my 2023-2023FY income. But when I go under employment, my 2022-2023 income is there and shows that it’s tax ready.
