I had started to try and link my business with RAM in order to access GST instalment information using mygovid. I could find information about income tax etc but have never been able to find GST tax instalment details online to be able to pay to the correct account. The identity strength was high and the ATO was linked (for personal tax only). From then on things have gone awry and I was not able to complete the process. After searching for help and trying to resolve I deleted the mygovid app from my phone and downloaded a new version from the app store. The result now is identity strength is unable to be verified. When I try and upload passport and licence information it is not being allowed (recognised). Error code for passport info is 45047 (422).I have read the description and understand it however I cant seem to make any headway to resolve. I cannot seem to get through to speak to anyone over the phone or even leave a message for someone to call back. Can someone please assist. I have lost track of how much time I have spent to try and resolve via online help, searching etc. Thank you

Hey @Jonho,

I share with you the frustration of technology!

Let's try and and get the MyGovID set up first..if you can follow these steps and report back the progress that would be awesome!

  1. Uninstall MyGovID app (again)
  2. Reinstall MyGovId app.
  3. Select 'I'm an existing user' NOT 'new user'
  4. Make sure you are using the correct email address (45047 error is relating to incorrect email address)
  5. Verify your documents.

Hopefully you're back in without error.

Now, to get you connected to online services for Business we need to set you up via RAM which will allow you the access to check the business side of things! If you have a strong ID strength you should be okay to link yourself.

Hi Catherine, thanks for your reply and apologies if my frustration was expressed. I will work through your suggested process later this evening. There are two email addresses that have been used over time for similar apps. Ideally there is a 50/50 chance of selecting the correct one the first time I reinstall the id app ! (fingers crossed). If it doesn't work the first time I will repeat the process and use the second contact email address. Will report back once we've given it a go. Thank you.
