Hello,

I currently work part-time and have also recently set up my own small business as a sole trader. I have two seperate bank accounts (neither of them are business accounts) as a way to seperate my personal purchases and business purchases/income. I have only recently started the business so this FY will be my first year paying tax, how do I link my second account to the ATO? On the website it says I can only link one account at a time, and currently that is my personal account. I know when I do the tax return I can register any sole trader income, am I meant to just put all my income/deductions in there or is there a way for me to have two bank accounts setup with ATO and receive the appropriate returns to each seperately?

Hi @roty3,

You can only have one bank account listed with us at a time. Because your individual tax return includes both your employment and sole trader income and deductions you'll only receive one tax return that takes all of that information into account.
