I bought computer to work from home which I used half for work purpose and half for self use. How and where can I calculate and deduction in which specific sections..?

Hey @SK91,


We have a great depreciation and capital allowance tool on our website that you can use. It will calculate for you how much each year you can claim over a period of time for your laptop. Even though you only use it 50% of the time for work I'm assuming the amount for you to claim would be above $300 therefore it would need to be claimed over a few years.


You then put the amount that you can claim for this financial year in the deductions section of your tax return.
