Hello,
I know that education-related deductions for my child are not tax deductible (school fees, etc) nor are extra-curricular activities (sports, music, etc). I'm struggling to find information regarding primary and high school aged children's information vs. student information regarding deductions for study that relates to future working opportunities (and the applicable ages of what can or cannot be claimed).
If my child is partaking in an extra-curricular educational program ( such as STEM Programs or Children's University ) via nationally recognised educational programs, are any of those expenses for the extra stationary materials, device and computing requirements, ticket fees for workshops etc. able to be claimed into tax deductions at tax time?
