The Not For Profit and Health sector salary sacrifice caps apply per
employer, not per employee, so yes.
Hi @StrawberryCreme,
Salary sacrificing mortgage repayments is not available to most employees. It’s usually only allowed where your employer is an FBT‑exempt or FBT‑rebatable employer. In those cases, the arrangement is treated as an expense payment fringe benefit, not as a deduction.
If one or both of your employers aren’t eligible to provide FBT‑exempt benefits, they generally can’t salary sacrifice mortgage repayments at all, regardless of how many jobs you have.
Any caps on salary‑sacrificed benefits (for example, annual FBT‑exempt caps) apply per employer, not per employee – but that doesn’t allow double funding of one mortgage. You can only package actual expenses incurred, up to the amount you genuinely pay.
