If unable to link to ATO, alternative would be to see a tax agent or if this is for lodging tax returns, a paper tax return

Don't think you can use the MyID if it's just basic. You need at least standard to use the online service with ATO. You can use one other other methods to secure your account.

I've my super, TFN and foreign passport to verify the ID but supposedly its not enough
