I run a consultancy, Motel Coach, that works directly with Motel Owners and Managers. I don't directly employ Motel Managers but work with a large volume that are hired as a Motel Management Couple. What are the key components to consider from a liability perspective for the Motel Owner?

Is this a question about taxes ?
Or a question about potential personal legal liability ?
You probably should have a meaningful discussion with a lawyer who is experienced with business liability issues.
Hi @Motel-Coach,
We can help where there are taxation questions, such as:
- whether motel managers are employees or contractors for tax and super purposes
- who is responsible for PAYG withholding and super guarantee
- how management fees or income are treated for tax by the owner or manager.
However, broader questions about legal liability, employment law, workplace health and safety, or contractual and insurance risk aren’t tax matters and would be best discussed with someone who specialises in accommodation or management agreements.
