Hi ATO Community,
I am currently overseas and unable to access my ATO account because I cannot complete the phone verification step. I no longer have access to my Australian phone number.
Due to time zone differences, work commitments, and the high cost of international calls, I am hoping to resolve this issue without calling ATO.
Is there any way to:
- Remove or bypass phone verification?
- Verify my identity using email or security questions instead?
- Access my account without linking to myGovID, as I am not an Australian citizen and cannot complete that verification?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
