Hi,

By my calculation I think I will exceed my concessional contribution for 2026 (by 30/06/2026). I would like to be clearer about the contribution reserving:

  1. Does the amount to be reserved (to next year) have to be deposited in the month of June only?
  2. Does this amount have to be in single deposit
  3. Any restriction/cap on this amount?

  1. Yes
  2. No, but a single deposit would mean less documentation
  3. Not all super funds allow reserving - so you need to check with your super fund first.
