If a person is employed on WHV / TR (subclass 485) and then get nominated for 482 visa, since the person is employed and then is undergoing health exam, can the 482 medical assessment / health exam cost be claimed on upcoming tax return?

I think that would count as private expense because it's what allows you to enter and live in Australia. Otherwise, people would be claiming expenses like a home they rent, driver licence etc
Generally, deductions are directly related to earning assessable income
