Have you seen a clearance certificate that does not include the contract date?

If not, then my opinion is that you never will due to the following question on the application form. At Section B it asks for transaction dates: The contract or possible contract date and settlement date. Form is in link below (hyperlink to paper form)

So when the certificate is issued the Clearance Certificate Period stated on the form will always be inclusive of that contract date.
