When withdrawing for the FHSS, does the amount affect your elgibility for the help to buy scheme. For example, if you have a taxable income of 80K plus an addtional $42K withdrawal, will this leave you unable to use the scheme for the following financial year? Thank you

Hi @Sindyivyn,

While I do some further digging for you to see if using the first home buyer 'help to buy scheme' and FHSS scheme would impact one another's eligibility, I'd suggest going through the 'eligibility tool' under the first home buyer's webpage.

I'll come back as soon as I can.

Hey @Sindyivyn,

I’ve checked with our experts about First Home Super Saver (FHSS) eligibility when you’re also using other first‑home buyer state and federal schemes.

While it won’t affect your ability to apply for the FHSS scheme, you'll need to contact either Housing Australia or your bank to talk about whether other government grants and schemes will impact your eligibility to use the 'help to buy' scheme.

Hopefully the link I included above on the housing Australia website can answer your question.
