Must a logbook have a separate line for each day, or could a single line cover a whole week of exclusively work related travel, eg uber driver ?

See the details in the reply from @Taxduck , @Colin_Oscopy - the ATO explicitly states "journey" (and admittedly "trip" elsewhere). Accordingly, it's not "a separate line for each day" unless there was but a single journey on that day. In turn, it's certainly not "a whole week".
