Yes , electronic signatures are allowed on electronic TFN declaration forms where the payer reports TFN information electronically and the process meets ATO requirements.
This is outlined in this TFN declaration factsheet. Employers can accept employees’ electronic signatures when using approved electronic processes or SBR‑enabled software.
You need to keep completed TFN declarations for your records, but you don’t need to send them to us.
Employees can also choose to complete their TFN declaration directly via ATO online services.
