Do I need to pay tax on board and lodgings?

I live with my mother who has a mortgage, I get rent assistance to help cover my cost of living here for ‘lodgings only’ does she have to declare this even tho it’s family arrangements. Thank you

Best to ask a tax agent or ATO's technical advice

Unlikely, domestic arrangements would be considered as income. Not sure if the rent assistance payments affect the situation
