Dear Sir/Madam,

SMSF member - 82 years old - withdraw shortfall about 60% of minimum payment required amount in 2024 FY but member withdrew outstanding minimum required on 24/07/2024.

Can ATO allow member to get ECPI in 2024 FY as normal? if yes, what does member need do to ATO? I am not sure if this pension has been ceased on 01/07/2023 or not
Assume in 2025 FY, member withdraw shortfall again about 13% of minimum payment required amount that more than 1/12 of minimum payment required.

Can ATO allow member to get ECPI in 2025 FY or not? On which day was this pension suspended?

No - that option is only available once if shortfall is no more than 1/12 of min pension.

Pension ceased 01/07/2023, so TBAR required + other rules to be followed - All on ATO website.

Pension will not restart unless there are proper documents to do so - not backdated.

Can ATO allow member to get ECPI in 2025 FY or not? On which day was this pension suspended?

Only if new pension started properly - see above.

01/07/2023 = pension failed, not suspended.
