Which exchange rate do I use for foreign currency?

I have received vendor invoices in foreign currencies with AUD exchange indicated in the invoices. Can i claim the GST in AUD based on our internal approved exchange rate or do i need to use the AUD exchange as indicated in the vendor invoice?

Hi @Jam,

The most important thing is consistency. You don't have to use a rate given by the vendor, you should use the same conversion rate source as you do for all your other invoices.
