I am trying to link to ATO and it requires me to have a strong identity. I have no passport.


I can't attach an image here with the error.


identity strength too weak to link to ATO

you are unable to link to the ATO using your Digital ID with a standard identity strength. select cancel and sign back in using your DigitalID with a strong identity strength.

Hi,


If you've ever signed into ATO online services with a strong MyID, then it will lock you into using the same identity strength/sign in method. If you're unable to get a strong identity strength again, I'd recommend calling the ATO as they'd be able to either do some troubleshooting with you, or reset it allowing you to use a standard to sign in.

I can't get a strong identity with DigitalID | ATO Community
