I have a lost super account as I have been in UK for 20 years but have recently returned. In my MyGov app I can see over $10k in my account to 2022 then “closed”. I spoke to an agent and sent the form in, and now I received a letter to say I have zero balance. How can the ATO take my super funds, close my account without authorisation and not refund me? There is no ATO office to talk to and the phone lines keep going round to say they can’t find the funds (even though the balance is showing in my MyGov account). How do I get recourse to this to get the funds back into a super account?
