I would like to pay GST collected since Dec 2024, and backdated my registration more than two weeks ago to try and facilitate this.

I've spent an enormous amount of time trying to find BAS forms and attempting to call the ATO, and am starting to get dizzy from being bounced around confusing webpages. I've also tried to call various numbers I've found, but keep being hung up on.

Can somebody please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I'm assuming you already have access to online services for business (or individual if you're a sole trader) but the option to prepare the BAS for the back-dated periods are not appearing

I think it would be to call ATO to 'enable' the BAS for those periods. Not uncommon for tax forms to not appear when it's 'new'

@YellowPotato Thanks for your reply. I've been trying to call them for days, and after going through the voice identification process every single time, a recording tells me that they are too busy to talk to me, and hangs up on me.

Is there any other way of getting in touch with them?
