I have been trying to do this for days now, and getting absolutely nowhere. Has anyone been able to do this before? Has anyone been able to work out how to get through the labyrinth of webpages that you get bounced around? Has anyone been able to talk to someone at the ATO without a recording hanging up on you after saying everybody's too busy to talk to you?


This is getting very frustrating.

If the relevant periods are not appearing, you would need to talk to ATO so it becomes an option


Alternative could be to use secure mail, write to them or to appoint a tax agent and they call ATO. Tax agents have a separate phone line, generally quicker than the public phone line


or prepare it with paper forms
