I have this in MyGov:

"Hello, The Pay As You Go (PAYG) instalment amount of $0.00 for xxxxxx xxxxxx is due soon. What you need to do You need to pay this amount by 28 April 2026."

How do I pay a zero amount without incurring a transaction fee?

Thanks

Hi @AndrewR,

You don't need to make a payment when your PAYG instalment amount is $0.00. There's no transaction fee because no payment is required.

When we provide you with an instalment amount of nil, you still need to report your instalment income (even if that's also nil) on your activity statement. However, if you only receive an instalment notice showing $0.00, and you're not varying the amount, you simply don't need to take any action.

The message you've received is advising you of the due date. You can disregard the notice and keep it for your records.
