I have moved to the UK but I have money in a bank account in Australia earning interest. Do I have to lodge an annual tax return

You can try to go through the tool in ATO online service via MyGov

Best you see a tax agent or ask ATO's technical advice


Not enough information.


If you have HECS, you have to do a tax return to calculate your compulsory repayment.


If there's no or not enough withholding on interest, dividend, royalties - then you need to do a tax return
