Looking for some help with Error Code 71376 while trying to complete a Tax File Number (TFN) application for a new company.
I have double-checked the following requirements and they all seem to be in order:
- Identity Strength: I have a "Strong" identity strength on my myGovID.
- RAM Linkage: My Digital ID is successfully linked to the entity in Relationship Authorisation Manager (RAM) as a Responsible Authority.
- ASIC Alignment: All details (names, addresses, and dates) match exactly between the ASIC registry and my application.
Despite this, I keep receiving the 71376 error at the final submission stage. I’ve tried clearing my browser cache, using Incognito mode, and switching from Chrome to Edge, but the result is the same.
Has anyone found a workaround for this specific code? Is this a known back-end sync issue between ASIC and the ATO, or is there a specific field that usually triggers this validation failure?
Any advice before I spend an hour on hold with the ATO technical help desk would be greatly appreciated!
