Hi All,
I rented my property out for the year while I was overseas.
I had $100,000 offsetting the home loan throughout the year.
When I lodge my tax return this year do I claim the actual interest charged by the bank or include the extra amount as well that was reduced by my offset account.
My offset account is just a everyday account in my name linked to the home loan.
