Can anyone please suggest good accounting software for trading stock management and ATO reporting. This is a sole trader business situation.
Have [Removed by moderator] different brokers and would like to consolidate the trade data into one accounting system for presentation of FY reports to personal accountant and ATO. Trading stocks are international shares listed on USA stock exchanges and options (financial derivative). FX conversion function required for USD/AUD calcuations. Also require the function to lower the cost basis of stocks as some covered call premiums received count as return of capital (ROC) which I believe is meant to lower the cost basis of the original share purchase instead tax being paid (until the original cost basis is fully written down). Software needs to be able to produce any reports required by the ATO.
