I have lodged superannuation guarantee charge statements (using the spreadsheet) online around 11 days ago. Some appeared straight away in the SG Charge statements; however some are still yet to appear. How long will this usually take to appear in the statements?

Hi @HollyBall,

Processing times for Super Guarantee Charge (SGC) statements can vary. When you lodge SGC statements online using the spreadsheet through secure mail, some statements may appear immediately in your SG Charge account, while others can take longer to process.

We aim to process SGC statements as quickly as possible. However, processing can take time and vary when it comes to how long it takes for all lodged statements to appear in your account. The variation you're seeing, where some statements appeared straight away but others haven't after 11 days, can occur during normal processing.

To help avoid processing delays, make sure you've followed these requirements when lodging:

  • only attach XLS files to your secure message
  • don't save a copy as PDF and attach
  • don't attach ZIP folders
  • don't alter or add columns on the spreadsheet
  • don't include zero employee shortfall amounts unless you're amending a previous shortfall to nil
  • don't duplicate quarter end dates when lodging more than one spreadsheet.

If it's been more than 2 to 4 weeks since you lodged and some statements still haven't appeared, you can contact us on the superannuation line.
