I had applied for Non- Resident ABN registration in November 2025. I have not received any communication till date regarding the registration. I have been calling the ATO number (customer service number) and have been put on hold for more than an hour without any response. Is there any other way of communication to find the status of the application.

You can search ABN Lookup to see if your ABN is showing as active. Just enter the business name you applied with into the search function.
If your ABN isn't showing as active and it's been several months since you've applied, you'll need to contact us to follow up on your application.
We understand it can be difficult to get through on the phones right now. If you do call, try as close to 8am or 6pm as possible, as wait times are usually shorter.
