Dear everyone,

I am applying for a Certificate of Payment for one of my business clients. However, it appears that only taxpayers themselves can use Secure Mail for an online application. I have checked the Practice Mail options, and there is no category available for a Certificate of Payment.

So, does this mean tax agents can only lodge this form via mail?

Warm regards,

Emily

Hey there @emilylv88,

You should have options when you log into the Tax Agent Portal, to lodge a Certificate of Payment.

You'll need to log into your Online services for agents then:

  • Navigate to Mail: Select Communciation from the menu, then practice mail.
  • Create a Message: Click to create a new message and use the following fields:
    • Topic: View more topics
    • Subject: Certificate of payment
  • Attach and send: Upload your completed form and any supporting documents (payment summaries) then submit the message.
