If you use Mytax they will prefill into your tax return.

Probably not ready yet. Centrelink income won't prefill until it is added to your tax records. Usually need to wait for a week or so from July 1 for this to happen.

As @TaxTalk1234 mentioned, if you use myTax, any taxable Centrelink payments will generally pre-fill into your tax return once the info has been reported to us.


This means you shouldn't need to add any income statement Centrelink sends to you, in your tax return.


It's still quite early in July, so the details may not be available yet. Most Centrelink payments will be reported and pre-ill in myTax by late July.


If you're unsure whether your Centrelink payment is taxable, you can check your Centrelink income statement. Taxable payments will generally be shown there, along with any tax withheld.
