We have two Australian companies in a tax consolidation group, and we have always used only one login account for both the ATO Business Portal and the Australian Business Register (ABR), under the head company.
Is it necessary to create separate login accounts for the member company for the ATO Business Portal and ABR? All tax matters are deal with under the head company, in this case, is the no separate account is required for the member company?
The member company has existed for many years, and I believe no separate account has ever been created for either the ATO Business Portal or ABR.
If a separate account is required, could you please advise how to set it up?
