We sold it one week short 12 months and so do not qualify for the 50% discount for CGT. Is there any appeal we can do . The sale was due to exceptional circumstances

12 months is measured from buy contract date to sell contract date, so check the dates again.
If that period is less than 12 months, then there is no discount.
There are no special circumstances for the 12 month test.

Thanks for the reply , we sign purchase contract on 11 August 21 and sale contract on 04 August 22
