Trying to get information about when to expect my tax return I lodged it on 1 aug and it’s got an effective date of 8 aug and since 8 Aug has been balancing account. All the bank account is correct and I have called and they said I need to speak to ato I just can’t actually find number to speak to a person. Just want an idea of when I can expect my return to be in my account.
Tax returns lodged online can take 12-30 days to process and the effective date may change.
If you return is still "balancing" we are still calculating the refund/bill on your account.
