Hi


My name is William Yap. I would like to inquire regarding income from Facebook as Professional Digital Creator as a hobby. I started being a digital creator around February and started to get Monetised in June. On June i had 16 USD, July 200USD, and will be increasing roughly to 2000USD per month. Do i need to file ABN for this as a sole creator business? I am doing this as a hobby engaging with other digital creator, watching other creators content and making my own content.

Its up to you to decide if you're in business or not, because it depends on things like your intention to make a profit, or if your activities are repeated and continuous. Have a look at the checklists on our are you in business page and see if you think your activities fit in there. If you're starting to earn more money from your content creation thats a sign that you might be in business.

If you're starting to earn more money from your content creation thats a sign that you might be in business.
