Hello community,

I am a temporary visa holder and quit my part-time job recently. I am going to leave Australia in two months and would like to get my super while I stay in Australia, but is it possible?

Hi @MK-kayou

If you’ve accumulated superannuation that was paid by an employer and been working under a temporary visa you may be eligible for have this super paid to you as a departing Australia superannuation payment (DASP).

If your have a look at our Departing Australia superannuation payment (DASP) page, it will outline the eligibility criteria and how to apply.

You can only make a claim once you have left Australia and no longer hold any active Australian visa.

Our community page also has a Claiming your departing Australia superannuation payment (DASP) online article that may also help.
