The 2023 Tax Return for Individuals at Item 7 INCOME section has Tax withheld and Income components to be entered - Why is this required when a taxpayer is over 70 years of age ? And, if it is required precisely what amounts should be entered for a superannuation income stream that is not a defined benefit scheme ?
