Its funny I am also in the same situation, Paid off my Part XI last year now Discharged but still getting these stupid checks, I submitted everything 4th July and here I am 6th Sept, I call every Friday now asking what's your newest excuse for more delays, I got some lady who said we completed all the checks but sorry there's another one but cant tell me what check it is either...... I get and understand maby a month long to complete but in my opinion this is actually reaching a level of beyond stupid, So hence why every Friday il just keep adding pressure as we shouldn't be getting checked for the rest of our lives... we paid our debit we did the right thing now treat us like everyone else!!!
