ETf dividend paid July 2023

Because ETFs do not pay dividends - they pay trust distributions, which are taxed differently. The amount received July 2023 would be a trust distribution declared 30 June 2023. You can confirm this with the ETF tax statement and distribution statement. Not all ETFs provide tax statements e.g. VEU, VTS.
