Hi

My employer is asking for physical signature instead of esign on TFN declaration form.

Is it mandatory requirement to do physical sign?

Please let me know thank you.

Hi @RohithMedic,

It would depend on how you are completing the forms. If you are doing the employment forms online through you ATO online services. You would select the box at Tick the box to sign the declaration with the identification details you used to log in, then select Finalise.

The other option where you could potentially use an electronic signature. You could follow lodging tax file number (TFN) declaration data online.

The final option would be if you are doing a paper form. Generally, that means you have a physical copy that you would need to sign and date.
