I immediately moved into a property I purchased in Jan 2019.
I then moved out and put the property up for rent in Jun 2021.
My understanding is that this makes me eligible for the 6 year absence rule.
Do the 6 years start from Jan 2019 or Jun 2021?

If you meet the eligibility criteria, the rule will start from June 2021.
