I'm stuck at this part where the payment type doesn't allow me to put the tax withheld as 0, I'm a freelance graphic designer, and a company hires me and I send invoice to the company for the work I have done, they always pay in full so there's no tax withheld on their end.

Did I chose a wrong payment type or is there another way to go about it?

Hi @yuki_poh,

If you are a contractor and invoice the business that you contract to. The income you are reporting would not be employment income. It would be business income.

If you are lodging through myTax. Do you have an ABN? It sounds like you may be earning income that is personal services income as a graphic designer.

We have a great page on how to complete your tax return when receiving personal services income.
